Now that the dust of graduation has settled, The Lagniappe will feature profiles of Montana Bible College's 2026 graduates over the next several months. Enjoy this peek at who God is sending into the world from MBC!

If you know Aiden Gale, you know he has a heart for others. He is one of those people who constantly cares for the needs of those around him—and ultimately for their souls.
Aiden is a recent graduate of Montana Bible College, having earned a BA in General Ministry. He also married his beautiful bride earlier this summer! Aiden has the biggest heart for Jesus, and he excels at sharing God’s love everywhere he goes.
As Aiden turns the tassel on his college years, he took some time to share his ministry journey, his goals for the future, and his heart for serving and loving others.

1) Tell me about the moment you realized you wished to be in ministry.
It was July of 2018 at Awana Pacific Northwest West Camp. Being 15 years old without a relationship with God, I only cared about having a good time in life.
One evening of the camp, the leaders let another young teen named Nicholas share his experience on a mission trip to the rural people of Guatemala. He spoke about the poverty he saw and some examples, like kids using a crumpled plastic water bottle filled with sand as a soccer ball.
Most of what he said has slipped my memory, but I still feel the impact the Lord left on me that day. I was shocked someone of that age, the same age as me, could move me that way.

From then on, it was clear to me that I wanted to be used by God to move people, too. When I came home from that camp, Christ was dwelling within me, and several months later, He blessed me with opportunities to start teaching at my church’s Youth Group.
Since then, He has never allowed me to not be active in ministry in the church. To be a Christian is to be in ministry, and for me, gifted with an ability to teach and encourage, God’s Spirit has used and will continue to use me for His glory.
2) How did you receive the internship at your church?
The Vice President of Academic Affairs at MBC, Dr. Andre Gazal, knew Pastor Adriaan of First Alliance Church well and thought I would be a good fit for that church. I had not found a church in Billings to regularly attend, so Dr. Gazal did a huge service to me! Before ever meeting me, Adriaan trusted Dr. Gazal’s stamp of approval and immediately put me down as the soon-to-be church intern, an answer to the prayer of the whole church. The second Sunday I attended First Alliance Church, I was on stage serving. God is very skillful in His work.
3) How did your internship develop into a position as a church staff member?
Well, from the start of my internship, it was a paid internship. When the internship ended, I still served in the same ministries as I did during the internship period, just having less meetings. Recently, after planting roots in Montana by renting a home and marrying my college sweetheart by God’s grace, I asked to be put on staff again for further ministry in the church and to better support my new family.

4) How has the education you received at MBC equipped you for your God-given calling in ministry?
The education given to me gave me opportunities to think seriously about the “how” of my calling to be a shepherd.
How will I minister? I must give credit to God for His work and love I experienced through Professor John Schreier in helping me understand the place of critical Bible study with the original language in rightly dividing God’s Word, the word of truth, as well as through Dr. Andre Gazal in teaching me the importance of church history and the development and context of beliefs. I must also thank God for Carter Knight for being the first professor to seriously push the application of the class material into my real life through discipleship.
5) What is a favorite MBC memory?
There were so many great moments of grace during my time at MBC. One night in Junior year, after learning through Carter Knight’s class about worshipping each member of the Trinity through prayer, I couldn’t sleep. I went outside under the stars and spent a few hours in prayer to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. There were countless moments in class or while studying with other students that our hearts were knit together after sharing with one another our thoughts on some aspect of God’s theology. Praise God.

6) Why is serving in a church important to you?
Serving in a church is important because it fulfills the Christian’s identity, obedience, and calling.
It fulfills the Christian’s identity as a member of the active family of God in which there is consistent accountability in the Christian’s sin, beliefs, welfare, and general worship.
It fulfills the Christian’s obedience as giving them the stage where the Bible commands them to love one another, pray, and hear Scripture directly for them, use spiritual gifts, and be blessed.
It fulfills the Christian’s calling as serving in a church allows the Christian to know and understand their calling practically and allows others to affirm God’s calling to specific ministries.
It is not enough to only attend church on Sunday as a Christian; we must be serving too.

7) What do you anticipate your future ministry will look like in the coming years?
If the Lord wills, I will continue to serve at First Alliance Church with my beloved wife for years to come. Eventually, either through the Alliance’s ordination training or through pastoral discipleship, I hope to continue teaching and counseling in great capacities as the Lord sees fit. I hope to go on more mission trips in the coming years and serve where I can.
8) Anything else you wish to share?
Our King of all the earth is the beginner and finisher of all good things and is the only reason I have achieved even the smallest growth of victory in my life. In the end, no one will dare praise another person, but everybody will praise God the Father alone. Thanks be to God for all His blessings and His salvation!

Indeed, all of these blessings in Aiden’s life are from the Father alone. He was a wonderful addition to MBC during his time on campus. And as he ends the chapter of his college years with a degree in hand and his beloved bride at his side, God will be with him every step of the way as he turns the page to this new ministry opportunity!

Thanks Mandi! :)
