ACCUPLACER: NextGen Placement Test Information *It is a math, writing, and reading placement exam. *Helps determine the best placement for incoming college student success. *Please contact Melinda Rafanan for further questions about placement scores. *A few things to know about the ACCUPLACER: NextGen Placement Test: 1. It is a computer-based exam. 2. It is an assessment of your skills. 3. Calculators are provided within the test. Students cannot bring their own calculator. 4. The test typically takes about two hours to complete for both math and writing. 5. The results are immediate so you do not have to wait to find out where you placed. 6. If taking a subject-specific test (Math, Writing, or Reading only) the testing fee is $7.50. If a student wants to take the full ACCUPLACER: NextGen (Math, Reading & Writing) test the fee is $15.00.
