Background
Throughout Joe King’s 26-year career as a youth and senior pastor, his skills and passions have continually pointed toward one Biblical mandate: Make disciples. In the spring of 2024, Joe concluded 17 years of service at his church in Mississippi and moved to Billings to take the role of Dean of Students and Discipleship at Montana Bible College. He was quickly promoted to Vice President of Student Affairs, but his goal remains: to ensure that MBC’s disciple-making mission flourishes in the culture of the college. King plans curriculum, teaches classes, mentors students and staff members, and builds a framework that enables intentional, relational, and gospel-centered discipleship to transform the hearts and lives of MBC students.
Joe is married to Joanna, and they have four children. He loves to travel and see new places with his family - his favorite destination to date being St. Petersburg, Russia.
