Background
Carter Knight and his wife, Alicia, are both from Montana. He graduated from Montana State University with his Bachelor's of Science in Nursing and has worked on hospital floors for trauma, neuro, surgery, observation, and COVID patients. Since 2021, he has worked as a hospice nurse while attending Phoenix Seminary. Soon to graduate with his Masters in Divinity, he is thrilled to teach at Montana Bible College.
Carter's research interests include a reception history of the Lord's prayer and its ability to summarize New Testament theology. Related to this, he loves to teach people how to prayerfully engage with Scripture. Key to this research is a study of the prayer and Scripture engagement practices of Scottish theologian Thomas Chalmers (1780-1847).
Carter and Alicia love to spend time with friends around the campfire, on hikes, and at their dinning room table. For outreach, they serve kids in foster care as program directors for Haven Camp. They are also passionate about supporting local pastors in East Africa. Now they are excited to invest in the Montana Bible College community!
