Jessica moved to Bozeman in 2012 with her husband, Joel Carlson. They sense a call to ministry and are happy to be part of the MBC community. They have a son and a daughter and enjoy spending time as a family. Jessica enjoys being home, reading, baking, and taking time to fellowship with other women.

Bachelor of Science in Bible/Theology and Educational Ministries, Multnomah Bible College, Portland, Oregon; Masters in Curriculum and Instruction, Colorado Christian University.

Micah joined MBC in 2011. He grew up in Colorado and was a Supervising Manager at Recreational Equipment Inc. (REI). Then, in 2004, he and his wife moved to Montana where he took on the roles of Financial Director and Instructor at Montana Wilderness School of the Bible. In 2010, while still at MWSB, Micah co-founded Certain Truth Ministries. He has a passion for teaching and sharing God’s Word and enjoys other hobbies such as photography, backpacking, cycling, and most outdoor activities. Micah and his wife Christa have three young children.

Before joining MBC, Leota was the Business Manager at Rocky Mountain Bible Mission for seventeen years. Prior to RMBM, she held positions in several areas for the Montana University System for ten years and taught two years at Inverness High School. In addition to other volunteer roles, Leota served as a school trustee for Hellgate Elementary School in Missoula for about nine years. She is actively involved in Community Bible Study. Leota and her husband, John, have two grown daughters.

Bachelor of Science in Physical Education/Health, Coaching Licensure, Bemidji State University, Bemidji, Minnesota.

Dan comes to MBC after 24 years of ministry at Oak Hills Christian College. During his time at OHCC, Dan served as Director of Admissions, Director of Financial Aid, Director of Athletics, Head Men’s Basketball Coach and Adjunct Faculty in the area of Physical Education/Health. Dan and his wife, Gwenn, have two daughters and one son. Dan loves meeting new people, spending time with family, traveling, and supporting sports teams from his home state of Wisconsin.

Susan has been blessed to live in Bozeman since 1984 after spending the first three years of her marriage in Germany while her husband, Jeff, was active-duty Army. She home schooled their three children for seven years and was a writer and editor for a continuing education company before joining MBC in 2005. Susan is actively involved in music ministry and enjoys spending time with her family, outdoor activities, sports, and reading.

Bachelor of Arts in History, Montana State University; Bacherlor of Arts in Biblical Studies, Montana Bible College; Pursuing a Master of Arts in Christian Apologetics, Biola University, La Mirada, California.

Danny is a native of Bozeman. After studying music and history at Montana State University, he lived abroad for five years, teaching English in Italy, Thailand, Japan, and Nepal. While teaching in Italy, Danny met another English teacher, Kate (from England), who became his wife. They now have a young daughter.

Danny sings at his local church, loves reading in general, especially apologetics, and enjoys hiking, going to hot springs, and traveling.

Tasha and her husband, David, enjoy having each other and their three children. Tasha spent her early years in Great Falls, but moved to Bozeman in 1998 when her husband decided to attend MSU. After spending 10 years as an at-home-mom, Tasha enjoyed teaching kindergarten at Petra Academy for 5 years. After an 18 month stint in Kansas City, Tasha was very grateful to be back in Bozeman. She stays very busy home-schooling, reading and working out as much as possible, cooking with her husband and spending time outside on the trails with her family.

Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies with a Biblical Counseling Emphasis, Montana Bible College, Bozeman, Montana; Certified with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors.

Jenni grew up amidst the 10,000 lakes of Minnesota. After moving to Montana in 1998, she quickly made herself at home among the thousands of peaks of Montana. She has enjoyed serving her church in various ministries over the years. After completing a bachelor’s degree in 2012 from Montana Bible College, she joined the staff in administrative roles. On top of work and ministry, Jenni enjoys the mountains and traveling to visit friends or family.

Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies with a Christian Culture and Ethics Emphasis, Montana Bible College, Bozeman, Montana.

Larissa is a Bozeman native. She spent a year studying culture, biblical history, and biblical geography in Israel. Larissa grew up in and around libraries and loves being able to work with books and people. Larissa and her husband, Kevin, enjoy spending time together. They are both involved in music with their local church and have a love of travel, volleyball, and hiking.

Austin is a native Bozemanite. Using his God-given gifts involving computers and technology, Austin derives great enjoyment in worshiping God and helping others by serving in the tech ministry and CrossLife (college ministry) at Grace Bible Church. As a continuation of his desire to serve others, Austin uses his skills to oversee Montana Bible College’s IT infrastructure, web development, audio/video technology and troubleshooting. If you attend a wedding in the Gallatin valley, you might find Austin running sound or shooting video with his drone. In his free time, Austin enjoys all things related to Mountain Dew and interacting with friends.

Ryan Ward

Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies with a Pastoral Emphasis from Montana Bible College. Master of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies from Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon.

Ryan served as Associate Pastor at Manhattan Bible Church from 1998-2007, overseeing high school and junior high youth ministries, worship, leadership development, and administration. He has served at MBC since 2007 in administrative roles of recruitment and church relations before transitioning to the presidency in 2017. His teaching includes Family Development, Biblical Peacemaking, Applied Bible Study Methods, Homiletics, and various books of the Bible. Ryan and his wife, Andrea, have two children. He loves spending time with his wife and children, and he also enjoys recreational activities and hobbies including woodworking, basketball, hunting, fishing and backpacking.
