In the 25 years prior to becoming president of Montana Bible College in 2009, Jim was pastor of Lone Rock Bible Church in Montana’s Bitterroot Valley, executive director of the Rocky Mountain Bible Mission, and pastor of Community Bible Church of Fort Benton, Montana, and the Winifred (Montana) Community Bible Church. Since 1990 Jim has taught various courses as a modular instructor at Montana Wilderness School of the Bible near Augusta. Jim and his wife, Mary, have four grown sons.

Before joining MBC, Leota was the Business Manager at Rocky Mountain Bible Mission for seventeen years. Prior to RMBM, she held positions in several areas for the Montana University System for ten years and taught two years at Inverness High School. In addition to other volunteer roles, Leota served as a school trustee for Hellgate Elementary School in Missoula for about nine years. She is actively involved in Community Bible Study. Leota and her husband, John, have two grown daughters.

Pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Music Technology, Montana State University, Bozeman.
Justin is currently working part time as Technology Director for both Montana Bible College and Grace Bible Church as he finishes his education at MSU. He and his wife, Justine, also work in youth ministry as worship band leaders. They enjoy spending time with the youth group kids as they do various activities and events.

Bachelor of Science in Bible/Theology and Educational Ministries, Multnomah Bible College, Portland, Oregon; Masters in Curriculum and Instruction, Colorado Christian University.
Micah joined MBC in 2011. He grew up in Colorado and was a Supervising Manager at Recreational Equipment Inc. (REI). Then, in 2004, he and his wife moved to Montana where he took on the roles of Financial Director and Instructor at Montana Wilderness School of the Bible. In 2010, while still at MWSB, Micah co-founded Certain Truth Ministries where he currently serves as the Executive Director. He has a passion for teaching and sharing God’s Word and enjoys other hobbies such as photography, backpacking, cycling, and most outdoor activities. Micah and his wife Christa have two young children.

Bachelor of Science in Education , Montana State University, Bozeman, Montana; Master of Arts in Education, Colorado State University, Greeley, Colorado.
Barbara taught at the elementary level in Zeeland, Michigan. Graduate school came next, and then she had the privilege of working as a reading specialist in inner city schools in Portland, Oregon. She then worked as a principal’s assistant in Portland before launching into the world of educational publishing as a consultant, editor, writer, trainer, and product manager for publishers, such as McGraw-Hill and Houghton Mifflin. Her greatest joy, however, has been to teach Bible studies in prisons and to help inmates once they are released.

Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies – General Ministry Concentration, Montana Bible College.
Brooke, a graduate of MBC (2005), has had a love for the Bible College since joining the ranks of students in 2001. Starting out as a volunteer in the library, she came on staff in 2003 as a library assistant and moved to full-time office administration after graduation. She and her husband, Mike, left in 2007 so he could attend seminary, but January 2011 saw them back in Bozeman and Brooke back on staff at MBC. Brooke has a passion to see God’s hand at work in the lives of MBC students and those whose lives are touched by MBC’s ministry.

Susan home schooled her three children for seven years and was a writer and editor for a continuing education company before joining MBC. She is actively involved in music ministry and enjoys spending time with her husband and adult children.

Jeanie and her husband, Ty, have two adult children and rejoice in their roles as grandparents! Prior to having children, Jeanie worked nine years as a legal secretary. She was a stay-at-home mother for 20 years and home schooled her children until 2001. She has recently facilitated women’s Bible studies, and is actively involved with her husband in the counseling ministry at Grace Bible Church. She also enjoys mentoring young women, reading, cross-stitching, cake decorating, entertaining, and traveling to see her children and grandchildren!

Ty is a Bozeman native who came to MBC after retiring from 38 years in the Montana National Guard. He was also employed by the State of Montana Department of Revenue Division for 28 years. He and his wife, Jeanie, have two children and three grandchildren. He enjoys traveling, a good western movie, and being with people.

Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies with a Pastoral Emphasis from Montana Bible College. Master of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies from Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon.
Ryan served as Associate Pastor at Manhattan Bible Church from 1998-2007, overseeing high school and junior high youth ministries, worship, leadership development, and administration. He has served at MBC since 2007. Ryan and his wife, Andrea, have two children. Ryan loves spending time with his wife and children, and he also enjoys recreational activities and hobbies including woodworking, basketball, hunting, fishing and backpacking.
